The seat comprises of high-resilience foam that retains its shape and has a structure that allows air to circulate, giving you a comfortable surface to sit on.
You sit comfortably since the chair is adjustable in height.

Posted on Aug 11, 2023I'm experiencing some issues with the chair's casters. They seem to be quite slippery and don't grip the floor well, which makes it difficult to stop the chair from moving when I'm trying to get up or sit down. Are there any suggestions on how to improve the traction of the casters?

Answered on Mar 31, 2023To adjust the seat height of the TOSSBERG/MALSKÄR swivel chair:
1. Sit on the chair and locate the lever or button underneath the seat.
2. While seated, pull up on the lever or press the button to release the gas lift mechanism.
3. Apply your weight to the seat and adjust it to the desired height.
4. Once you've reached the preferred seat height, release the lever or button to lock the position.
5. Ensure the chair is securely locked in place by gently moving up and down on the seat.
If you're still having trouble adjusting the height, please double-check that the mechanism is not stuck or obstructed. You may need to consult the original assembly instructions or contact IKEA customer service for further assistance

1. Ensure the chair is unoccupied and not under any weight. This will make it easier to adjust the mechanism.
2. Locate the height adjustment lever, usually located under the seat. Firmly grasp the lever and pull it up all the way.
3. While holding the lever up, gently rock the seat up and down. This can help dislodge any stuck components.
4. If the lever still feels stuck, you can try spraying a small amount of silicone-based lubricant onto the mechanism. Avoid using oil-based lubricants as they can attract more dirt and debris.
5. After applying the lubricant, work the lever up and down several times to work it in. This should help free up the adjustment mechanism.
