I recently purchased the POÄNG Armchair and ottoman, black-brown/Glose off-white. After using it for a few months, I noticed that the leather on the armrest is starting to peel off in some areas. Is this covered under the 10-year limited warranty? If so, what are the next steps I should take to get it repaired or replaced?

I've had my Poäng armchair for about 5 years now, and the leather has started to crack and lose its shape. Is there any way to restore it or replace the leather with a new one?

The leather cushion on the POÄNG armchair can be replaced if it becomes worn over time. You have a few options to restore the look and feel of your chair:

1. Purchase a new POÄNG armchair cushion. IKEA sells replacement cushions in various colors and materials, including leather, that can be easily swapped out.

2. Consider getting the cushion re-upholstered. You can take it to a local upholstery shop and have them replace the leather with a new high-quality material.

3. Use a leather conditioner or restoration product to help revive the existing cushion. This can help minimize cracking and restore some of the shape and suppleness of the leather.
