Posted on Jul 31, 2023I'm interested in purchasing this bench but I have a question. The dimensions you provided are slightly larger than the space where I plan to put it. Can you confirm if there is any assembly required and if so, how much space is added during assembly?

Answered on Aug 02, 2023The TJUSIG bench does require some assembly. During assembly, the overall dimensions may increase slightly, approximately 1-2 inches in width and depth. This is due to the addition of the legs and any hardware used to connect the components. However, the increase should be minimal and the final assembled dimensions should still fit within the space you have available. The instructions provided with the product will give you the precise assembled dimensions to ensure it fits your desired location

Posted on Jul 04, 2022I'm interested in purchasing the TJUSIG Bench with shoe storage, but I'm wondering if it's possible to add a lock or latch to secure the bench and keep it from being easily moved or accessed by unauthorized individuals. If so, could you provide me with more information on how to do this or recommend any additional products that would be compatible with this bench?

Answered on Jul 06, 2022The TJUSIG bench does not have any built-in locking mechanism, but there are a few options you could consider to secure it:
1. Install a simple hasp and padlock on the front panel to lock the storage compartment. This would prevent unauthorized access to the interior.
2. Use furniture anchors or L-brackets to securely attach the bench to the wall. This would make it more difficult to move or tip over.
3. Add adhesive-backed hook-and-loop fasteners (e.g. Velcro) to the bottom of the bench and the floor to create a non-permanent but secure connection.
