I have a POÄNG armchair and I'm looking to change the fabric. Can I replace the cushion cover with a new one, or do I need to reupholster the entire chair?

The POÄNG armchair allows you to easily replace just the cushion cover without needing to reupholster the entire chair. The cushion is designed to be removable and the cover can be replaced separately. You can purchase a new POÄNG seat cushion cover in a different fabric to change the look of your armchair. This is a quick and easy way to refresh the appearance of your POÄNG without having to do a full reupholstery

I recently purchased the POÄNG armchair and I love it, but I'm having trouble removing the seat cushion to wash it. Can you provide any tips on how to take it out?

To remove the seat cushion on the POÄNG armchair, follow these steps:

1. Locate the small zippers on the underside of the seat cushion. There are typically two zippers, one on each side.
2. Carefully unzip the zippers to fully open the cushion cover.
3. Once the zippers are open, you can gently pull the cushion out of the frame.
4. With the cushion removed, you can now wash the cover as needed.
5. When ready to put it back, simply reverse the process - place the cushion back into the frame and zip up the covers.

Make sure to handle the cushion carefully to avoid damaging the tufted design. Take your time and the cushion should come out easily for washing
