Posted on Apr 11, 2023I recently purchased the POÄNG armchair and I'm having trouble with the seat cushion. The fabric is starting to fray and I'm worried it will fall apart soon.
Is there a way to replace or repair the seat cushion?
Can I get a new one from Ikea or do you have any recommendations for a DIY fix?

The cushion is a standard size and easily removable, so it's a simple fix. To replace it, just unzip the old cushion cover, remove the cushion insert, and install the new cushion.
