Answered on Sep 13, 2022Yes, the cover of the SÖDERHAMN armchair is machine washable. According to the product description, the cover is made of Fridtuna, a sturdy cotton and polyester fabric that is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed.
For washing the cover, the recommended settings are:
- Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C (104°F) using a gentle cycle.
- Do not use bleach.
- Tumble dry on a low heat setting.
The cover is also easy to take off and put back on again, so you can remove it and wash it as needed to keep your SÖDERHAMN armchair looking its best

Posted on Sep 03, 2022I'm trying to move the sofa and one of the legs got stuck in a tight space. Is there a way to remove or detach the leg without damaging it?

Answered on Sep 05, 2022To remove the leg without damaging it, you can follow these steps:
1. Carefully tilt the armchair to one side to access the leg that is stuck.
2. Locate the screws or bolts that are securing the leg to the frame of the armchair.
3. Use the appropriate tool, such as a screwdriver or wrench, to loosen and remove the screws or bolts.
4. Once the leg is detached, you should be able to gently pull it out of the tight space.
5. Make sure to keep all the hardware together so you can reattach the leg once the armchair is in its new position.
