Posted on Oct 08, 2023I recently purchased the Bergmund chair in oak effect and I'm having trouble removing the chair cover. The hook-and-loop fasteners seem to be stuck together and won't budge. What can I do to remove the cover without damaging it?

1. Carefully inspect the hook-and-loop fasteners on the cover. Make sure there are no debris or lint caught in the fasteners, as this can cause them to stick together.
2. If the fasteners are still stuck, try gently pulling the cover away from the chair frame while wiggling and twisting the cover. This can help separate the hook-and-loop fasteners.
3. You can also try using a dull knife or flat tool to carefully pry the fasteners apart, being careful not to damage the cover material.
4. As a last resort, you can try spraying a small amount of fabric-safe lubricant or mild detergent solution onto the fasteners to help loosen them up before trying to pull the cover off again.
