Answered on Oct 25, 2023To remove the cover on the EKERÖ armchair with the Skiftebo yellow fabric without damaging it, follow these steps:
1. First, locate the zippers on the back and bottom of the chair. These zippers allow you to remove the cover.
2. Unzip the zipper on the back of the chair. This will allow you to detach the back cushion cover.
3. Next, unzip the zipper on the bottom of the chair. This will allow you to remove the seat cushion cover.
4. Gently pull the cover away from the chair frame, being careful not to stretch or pull the fabric excessively.
5. Once the cover is removed, you can machine wash it using a mild detergent on a gentle cycle. Avoid using bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the fabric.
6. After washing, simply re-attach the cover by reversing the steps, ensuring the zippers are aligned correctly before zipping them up.
Take your time and be gentle when removing and re-attaching the cover to avoid any damage to the Skiftebo fabric

Answered on Apr 21, 2023To remove the seat cushion from the EKERÖ armchair, first locate the velcro strips that attach the cushion to the frame. Gently pull the cushion away from the frame, taking care not to tear the velcro. Once the cushion is removed, you can clean it by spot cleaning with a mild detergent and water. Allow the cushion to fully dry before reattaching it to the frame by aligning the velcro strips and pressing firmly. Be careful not to over-tighten the cushion, as this could damage the velcro
