May be completed with FIXA self-adhesive floor protectors to protect the underlying surface against wear.

I want to replace the seat shell with a different color. Can I use any seat shell or is there a specific one that is compatible with this underframe?

According to the product description, the KARLPETTER chair's seat shell is available in different colors, and the underframe SEFAST is available in white, black and chrome-plated colors. The description also states that the SEFAST underframe works well with LIDÅS or SIGTRYGG seat shells, which are sold separately. This means that you can replace the seat shell with either the LIDÅS or SIGTRYGG seat shells to change the color of the chair, as they are compatible with the SEFAST underframe
