Posted on Aug 24, 2023I love this chair, but I'm a bit concerned about the brakes on the casters. Can you confirm whether they're manual or automatic?
And if automatic, how do I know if they're functioning properly?

Posted on Jan 25, 2023I'm having trouble getting the chair to roll smoothly on my hardwood floor. The casters seem a bit sticky and are leaving marks on the floor. Is there any way to clean or lubricate them to improve their movement?

Answered on Jan 27, 2023To improve the smooth rolling of the LOBERGET / MALSKÄR swivel chair on your hardwood floor, you can try the following:
Clean the casters by wiping them with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris that may be causing them to stick. Avoid using harsh cleaners or solvents as they can damage the casters.
Once the casters are clean, you can try lubricating them with a small amount of silicone-based lubricant. Apply a few drops to each caster and then roll the chair back and forth to work the lubricant into the wheels. This should help reduce the stickiness and improve the chair's mobility on your hardwood floor.
Be mindful that the lubricant may leave a slight residue on the floor, so it's recommended to test it in an inconspicuous area first. Avoid using oil-based lubricants, as they can attract more dirt and potentially stain the floor
