Posted on Mar 22, 2023I would like to return the Remsta armchair, but it is no longer in its original packaging. Is there a way to still initiate a return?

Answered on Mar 24, 2023To initiate a return for the REMSTA armchair without the original packaging, you can still proceed with the return process. IKEA generally accepts returns of products even without the original packaging, as long as the item is in good, resellable condition. You will need to bring the item to your nearest IKEA store along with your proof of purchase. The store associates will assess the condition of the armchair and provide you with a refund or exchange as per IKEA's returns policy. As long as you have your receipt, IKEA should be able to process the return for you without any issues, even though the original packaging is no longer available
