Posted on Oct 11, 2022I recently purchased the Millberget swivel chair in Murum beige and I'm experiencing a slight wobble when sitting down or getting up from the chair. Is this normal or could it be due to improper assembly or wear and tear?

Answered on Oct 13, 2022The slight wobble you're experiencing with your MILLBERGET swivel chair is likely due to the chair not being properly assembled. Here are a few things you can check:
1. Ensure all screws and bolts are tightened securely, especially the ones connecting the base to the seat. Over time, these can become loose and cause the chair to wobble.
2. Check that the casters are properly installed and aren't damaged or worn down. Damaged casters can contribute to an unstable chair.
3. Verify the chair is sitting level on the floor. If one of the casters is not making full contact, it can create a wobble.
If the chair was properly assembled and the components are in good condition, the wobble may be normal and within the expected tolerances for this model. However, if the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting IKEA customer service, as they may be able to provide further troubleshooting advice or a replacement part if needed
