Posted on Nov 29, 2022I recently purchased the POÄNG armchair with the Knisa black cushion, but I'm having trouble removing the cover to wash it. Is there a special technique or tool needed to remove the cover without damaging it?

Answered on Dec 01, 2022To remove the cover on your POÄNG armchair with the Knisa black cushion, you'll need to carefully follow these steps:
1. Locate the zippers on the underside of the cushion cover. There should be two zippers, one on each side.
2. Unzip the zippers fully to expose the cushion inside.
3. Gently pull the cover away from the cushion, starting from the bottom and working your way up. Be careful not to pull too hard to avoid damaging the fabric.
4. Once the cover is removed, you can wash it according to the care instructions. The Knisa fabric is machine washable.
5. When replacing the cover, carefully align it and zip up the zippers to secure it back onto the cushion.
Take your time and avoid using any sharp tools, as that could tear the fabric. With a gentle touch, you should be able to remove and replace the cover without any issues

Posted on Sep 17, 2022I love my Poäng armchair, but I'm having trouble finding the right cushions to match my new living room decor. Can you recommend any specific seat cushion designs or fabrics that would go well with the brown frame and black Knisa cushion?

Since you have the brown frame and black Knisa cushion, I would recommend considering some of the lighter, more neutral-toned cushion fabrics.
Some good options could be the POÄNG cushion in beige Hillared, gray Lysed, or white Ransta. These lighter solid colors would complement the darker brown frame and black Knisa nicely. You could also look at patterned cushions in tones of gray, tan, or off-white that would add visual interest without clashing with the existing colors.
Ultimately, the great thing about the POÄNG is the ability to easily swap out cushions to refresh the look. I'd suggest ordering a few different options to see which one best suits your space and personal style preferences
