Posted on Dec 21, 2023I was wondering if it's possible to use the Grubban step stool with a carpeted floor? The product description mentions that it's sturdy and stable, but I'm concerned about the stool slipping on the carpet. Has anyone had any issues with this or are there any precautions I can take to ensure the stool stays in place?

Posted on Nov 17, 2022I'd like to know if the step stool can be used with a non-slip mat or coating, as I have concerns about slipping on the surface

Answered on Nov 19, 2022The product description states that you should not paint the step stool with ordinary paint due to the risk of slipping. However, it does mention that you can treat it with STOCKARYD oil to protect the surface and enhance the wood grain pattern. Using a non-slip mat or coating would likely work as well to provide additional traction and prevent slipping. Just be sure to follow the manufacturer's recommendations and avoid using regular paint, as that could make the surface more slippery
