The seat comprises of high-resilience foam that retains its shape and has a structure that allows air to circulate, giving you a comfortable surface to sit on.
The safety casters have a pressure-sensitive brake mechanism that keeps the chair in place when you stand up, and releases automatically when you sit down.
You can lean back with perfect balance, as the tilt tension mechanism is easy to adjust with an Allen key to suit your weight and movements.

Posted on Feb 17, 2024I am looking to purchase the TOSSBERG/LÅNGFJÄLL conference chair, and I was wondering if it is possible to adjust the tilt tension mechanism further than what the Allen key allows? Is there a limit to how much you can tighten or loosen it?

Answered on Aug 03, 2023To adjust the tilt tension mechanism on the TOSSBERG / LÅNGFJÄLL Conference chair:
1. Locate the Allen key adjustment bolt, usually found underneath the seat or at the base of the chair.
2. Using the appropriate size Allen wrench, turn the bolt clockwise to increase the tilt tension and make the chair more resistant to leaning back.
3. Turn the bolt counterclockwise to decrease the tilt tension and make the chair easier to lean back in.
4. Adjust the tension in small increments, testing the chair after each adjustment until you find the desired level of tilt resistance that suits your weight and preferences.
5. Be careful not to overtighten the mechanism, as this could damage the chair.
