Rubber armrests keep the chair in place when you hang it over the tabletop for easy cleaning of floors. The darker color conceals dirt that comes from frequent use.

Answered on Jan 21, 2024Yes, it is possible to replace the fabric cover on your LÄKTARE conference chair. The chair covers are designed to be easily removable and replaceable.
You can find compatible replacement covers for the LÄKTARE chair on the IKEA website or in IKEA stores. The covers are available in several different colors, so you can easily find one that matches the decor of your conference room.

Posted on Aug 02, 2023I'm interested in purchasing the Läktare conference chair, but I have a concern about the seat depth. According to the specs, it's 15 3/4 inches deep. Will this be comfortable for users with longer legs? Are there any other options or alternatives that might be better suited for taller individuals?

Answered on Apr 22, 2023The chair cover is machine washable. To wash the cover:
1. Remove the cover from the chair frame.
2. Wash the cover in the washing machine using a gentle cycle with cold water.
3. Use a mild detergent. Avoid using bleach or fabric softener.
4. Tumble dry the cover on a low heat setting or air dry it.
The cover is made of dope dyed GUNNARED fabric, which is a durable polyester fabric with a wool-like feel. It can withstand machine washing without any issues. Just be sure to follow the gentle cycle and cold water recommendations to help preserve the fabric and color
