I'm having trouble removing the seat cushion from my POÄNG rocking chair. The clips underneath are stuck and won't come out. Is there a trick to releasing them or can I send it back for replacement?

To remove the stuck seat cushion from your POÄNG rocking chair, try the following:

First, ensure the chair is in the upright position. Locate the clips underneath the seat cushion that are holding it in place. Using your fingers, gently pry and pull the clips outwards to release them. You may need to use a flat-head screwdriver to help pry the clips open if they are particularly stuck.

Once the clips are released, the seat cushion should lift off easily. If you're still having trouble, you can try spraying a small amount of silicone-based lubricant onto the clips to help loosen them up.

If after several attempts the clips remain stuck, you may need to request a replacement seat cushion from IKEA. Their 10-year guarantee should cover this issue. Contact IKEA customer service to initiate a replacement
