I have a Smörkull office chair and I'm experiencing some issues with the armrests. They seem to be slightly bent and are causing discomfort when I use them. Is it possible to adjust or straighten the armrests in any way, or would I need to replace them entirely?

The armrests on the SMÖRKULL office chair are designed to be adjustable in height, which can help reduce strain on your arms and shoulders. If the armrests are bent and causing discomfort, you may be able to adjust them back into the proper position.

First, try adjusting the height of the armrests. There should be a lever or button on the underside of the seat that allows you to raise or lower the armrests. Try adjusting them to a comfortable height and see if that helps.

If the armrests are still bent after adjusting the height, you may be able to gently straighten them by hand. Apply even pressure to bend them back into the correct position. Be careful not to apply too much force, as you don't want to damage the armrest mechanism.

If the armrests are severely bent and you are unable to straighten them, you may need to replace the armrest assemblies entirely. Replacement parts can be ordered from IKEA. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully when installing the new armrests
