I am having trouble removing the chair cover. It seems stuck on the chair and I have to pull it really hard which is making me worry about damaging it. Is there a trick or technique to remove the cover easily without stretching it?

To remove the chair cover easily without stretching it, follow these steps:

1. Locate the hook-and-loop fasteners that secure the cover to the chair. These are typically found along the bottom edge of the cover.

2. Carefully unfasten the hook-and-loop fasteners by gently pulling them apart. Avoid pulling the cover itself, as this can cause stretching.

3. Once the fasteners are undone, gently lift the cover away from the chair, starting from the bottom and working your way up. Avoid tugging or pulling the cover forcefully.

4. If the cover is still difficult to remove, try gently working your fingers between the cover and the chair frame to loosen it, being careful not to damage the fabric.

The key is to take your time and use a gentle, patient approach to avoid stretching or damaging the cover. With a little care, you should be able to remove the cover easily without any issues

I have a few stains on my Bergmund chair cover, and I'm planning to machine wash it. Are there any specific washing instructions that I should follow? Should I use a certain type of detergent or avoid using fabric softener?

To wash the BERGMUND chair cover:

- Machine wash the cover at a maximum temperature of 104°F (40°C) using a gentle cycle. Avoid using high spin speeds.

- Use a mild, liquid detergent. Avoid using fabric softener, as it can affect the fabric's breathability and elasticity.

- Do not bleach the cover. Bleach can damage the fabric.

- Avoid putting the cover in the dryer. Instead, air dry the cover by laying it flat or hanging it. The heat from a dryer could also damage the fabric.

- Once dry, you can reattach the cover to the chair frame using the hook-and-loop fasteners.

Following these washing instructions will help ensure the cover maintains its quality and fit on the chair after cleaning

I've just received my new Bergmunt chair and the cover is a bit wrinkled. Is it normal for the cover to be a bit stiff and rough when you first put it on, or did I get a faulty one? Can I iron it or is that not recommended?

The wrinkled and stiff cover on your new BERGMUND chair is normal and not a sign of a faulty product. The chair cover is made of 100% cotton INSEROS fabric, which has a plain weave with a smooth surface texture.

Cotton fabrics can sometimes appear wrinkled or stiff when first used. This is due to the natural characteristics of the material. Over time and with use, the cover will soften and the wrinkles will relax.

It is generally not recommended to iron the chair cover, as this could damage the fabric or the hook-and-loop fasteners that secure the cover in place. The best way to help the cover relax is to simply use the chair normally. The weight of sitting and the warmth of your body will help the fabric soften up naturally.

If the wrinkles are still bothersome after a few days of regular use, you can try gently steaming the cover to help release the creases. But avoid using a hot iron directly on the fabric
