Posted on Feb 08, 2023I need to adjust the lumbar support on my BERGMUND chair. Can I remove the backrest and reposition it?
If so, how do I do that?

Answered on Feb 10, 2023The BERGMUND chair has a built-in lumbar support in the backrest that is not designed to be removed or repositioned. The backrest is attached to the chair frame and is not meant to be disassembled by the user. Attempting to remove or modify the backrest could damage the chair.
Instead, you can try adjusting your sitting position and posture to make the most of the built-in lumbar support. Ensure you are sitting all the way back in the chair with your back firmly against the backrest. You can also try placing a small cushion or rolled-up towel in the small of your back for additional lumbar support if needed. If the lumbar support still does not feel adequate, you may want to consider a different chair model that offers more adjustable lumbar support
