Posted on Jul 15, 2023I'm having trouble adjusting the seat height of my Örfjäll child's desk chair. The mechanism seems stuck and I can't get it to move up or down. Are there any tips or tricks to help loosen it?

Answered on Jul 17, 2023The mechanism for adjusting the seat height on the ÖRFJÄLL child's desk chair may be stuck due to debris or buildup. Here are some steps to try and troubleshoot the issue:
1. Ensure the chair is on a level surface and not leaning to one side, as this can affect the adjustment mechanism.
2. Locate the lever or button underneath the seat that controls the height adjustment. Gently move it up and down a few times to try and loosen the mechanism.
3. If that doesn't work, you can try spraying a small amount of silicone-based lubricant onto the adjustment mechanism. This can help free up any stuck parts.
4. As a last resort, you may need to disassemble the chair slightly to access the height adjustment mechanism directly and clean out any debris. Be careful when doing this to avoid damaging the chair.
