Do not paint the step stool with ordinary paint due to the risk of slipping. However, you can treat it with STOCKARYD oil to protect the surface and enhance the wood grain pattern.

To properly fold the BEKVÄM stepladder:

1. Make sure the ladder is in the upright position, with the steps facing you.
2. Grasp the top step with both hands and lift it upwards, towards the top of the ladder.
3. As you lift the top step, the two side frames will start to come together, folding the ladder.
4. Continue lifting the top step until the ladder is fully folded, with the side frames collapsed inwards.
5. Once folded, the ladder can be stored compactly by the handles on the side frames.

Be gentle and take your time when folding the ladder. Avoid forcing it, as this could damage the mechanism. With a little practice, you'll be able to fold and unfold the BEKVÄM stepladder easily

I'm considering purchasing the BEKVÄM Stepladder, but I have a concern about its stability on uneven floors. How does the ladder perform on surfaces that are not perfectly flat? Does it have any anti-slip features or is there anything else I can do to ensure my safety while using it?
