I love the design and comfort of the chair, but I've noticed that the casters are quite loud when rolling on a hard floor. Is there any way to reduce the noise or replace them with quieter ones?

IKEA offers replacement casters that are designed to roll more smoothly and quietly on hard surfaces. You can purchase a set of the OLOV casters, which are specifically made for use on hard floors. They have a soft rubber tread that helps absorb noise and vibration. To replace the casters, simply pop out the old ones and snap the new OLOV casters into the chair's base. This simple swap should significantly reduce the noise when rolling the chair on your hard floor
