Posted on Oct 23, 2023I have a BESTÅ TV storage combination with glass doors, and I'm having trouble opening the drawers. The push-openers seem to be stuck or jammed. Are there any troubleshooting steps I can take to fix this issue?

Answered on Oct 25, 2023To troubleshoot the issue with the stuck or jammed drawers on your BESTÅ TV storage combination, here are the steps you can try:
1. Check for any obstructions: Ensure that there are no objects or debris preventing the drawers from opening smoothly. Gently pull the drawer out as far as possible and inspect the interior and the tracks for any obstructions.
2. Adjust the push-openers: The push-openers may have become misaligned or need adjustment. Locate the small screws on the push-openers and try tightening or loosening them slightly to see if it improves the drawer's functionality.
3. Lubricate the tracks: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or furniture polish to the drawer tracks. This can help reduce friction and allow the drawers to open and close more easily.
4. Check the drawer alignment: Ensure that the drawers are properly aligned within the BESTÅ frame. If they are not, you may need to adjust the drawer hinges or the entire unit to ensure the drawers can open and close smoothly.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact IKEA customer support for further assistance

Posted on Apr 09, 2023I love this storage combo, but I'm having an issue with the drawers not sliding out smoothly. They get stuck sometimes and are hard to open/close.
Is there a trick or maintenance tip you can share to make them run more smoothly?
