Posted on Nov 28, 2022I have a Besta sideboard and I'm trying to assemble it, but the doors don't line up properly. The hinges are adjustable, but even after adjusting them, the door still doesn't close smoothly. What could be causing this issue? Is there a specific way to adjust the hinges or is it something else that's going wrong?

Answered on Nov 30, 2022The issue with the doors not aligning properly is likely due to the cabinet frame not being perfectly square. This can happen during assembly if the cabinet is not placed on a level surface or if the screws are not tightened evenly.
To fix this, try the following steps:
1. Ensure the cabinet is placed on a level surface. Use the adjustable feet to level the cabinet if needed.
2. Check that all the screws securing the cabinet frame are tightened evenly. Loose screws can cause the frame to become skewed.
3. Adjust the hinges as needed. The hinges on the BESTÅ cabinets allow you to adjust the door horizontally, vertically, and in depth. Refer to the assembly instructions for the proper hinge adjustment steps.
4. If the doors still don't align properly after adjusting the hinges, the cabinet frame may be warped. In this case, you may need to disassemble and reassemble the cabinet, ensuring all parts are properly aligned and secured.
With some patience and the right adjustments, you should be able to get the doors on your BESTÅ sideboard aligned and closing smoothly
