Answered on Sep 06, 2023The BESTÅ shelf unit is designed to be modular, allowing you to customize it to your needs. You can add more shelves or doors to this unit.
The maximum number of shelves that can be added is 5, including the two fixed shelves that come with the unit. You can purchase additional BESTÅ shelves separately to add more storage space.
As for doors, you can add up to 2 sets of doors to this 47 1/4" wide unit. BESTÅ offers a variety of door styles and sizes that are compatible with this shelf unit.
For installation, you will need basic tools like a screwdriver, hammer, and possibly a drill. The additional shelves and doors simply clip or screw into the existing frame. No specialized tools are required. Just follow the instructions provided with any new components you purchase
