Posted on Jan 17, 2024I've assembled the Bestå shelf unit with doors and it's almost complete, but I'm having trouble getting one of the shelves to slide into place. It seems like there might be some debris or dirt obstructing it from moving smoothly. Is there a recommended cleaning method for the tracks or any other tips you could provide to help me get the shelf in place?

Answered on Jan 19, 2024To get the shelf sliding smoothly, first try gently wiping down the track with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dust or debris that may be obstructing the movement. If that doesn't work, you can try using a small amount of a silicone-based furniture polish or lubricant on the track. Avoid using too much, as it can attract more dust over time. Make sure to wipe away any excess. If the shelf still doesn't slide in easily, double-check that all the other shelves and hardware are properly installed and aligned. With a little gentle cleaning and adjustment, you should be able to get that last shelf sliding into place
