Posted on Mar 19, 2024I have a HAVSTA Storage combination and I love it! However, the soft-closing mechanism on one of the doors is no longer functioning. Is there a replacement part available for this specific model? And if so, how do I go about ordering it from Ikea?

Answered on Sep 18, 2023To connect two HAVSTA storage combinations together, follow these steps:
1. Ensure both units are placed side by side, aligned at the back and leveled.
2. Locate the metal connecting brackets included with the HAVSTA units. These are typically found in the hardware bag.
3. Attach the metal brackets to the inside of the side panels on the adjacent units, using the screws provided.
4. Secure the brackets firmly to join the two cabinets together. This will create a stable, connected unit.
5. Check that the doors open and close smoothly across the connected cabinets.
6. If needed, adjust the leveling feet to ensure the connected units are level and stable.
