Posted on May 03, 2023I've just assembled the Billy/Oxberg bookcase and I'm having trouble getting the glass shelves to fit properly. The instructions seem unclear on how to secure them in place. Can you please provide more detailed guidance on how to install the glass shelves correctly?

Answered on May 05, 2023To install the glass shelves for the BILLY / OXBERG bookcase correctly:
1. Make sure the side panels are securely in place and level.
2. Locate the small plastic shelf supports that came with the bookcase. These snap into the pre-drilled holes on the side panels.
3. Gently place the glass shelves onto the plastic supports, ensuring they are centered and level.
4. Once the shelves are in the desired positions, you can secure them further by using the small plastic clips that also came with the bookcase. Clip these onto the edge of the glass shelves to hold them firmly in place.
Take your time and double-check that the shelves are properly supported and level. If you continue to have any issues, refer back to the instruction manual or contact IKEA customer service for additional guidance
