Posted on Oct 21, 2023I love the design of this storage unit! I'm interested in purchasing one, but I have a concern about the stability of the shelves. Are there any additional support brackets or feet that can be added to prevent the shelf from wobbling or collapsing?

Answered on Oct 23, 2023The HAVSTA storage unit with sliding glass doors is designed to be very stable and durable. The shelves are made of tempered glass with wooden edges, which provides strong support to prevent any wobbling or collapsing. Additionally, the unit has a solid pine frame that is built to withstand heavy loads.
To further enhance the stability, you can attach the unit to the wall using the included wall anchoring hardware. This will ensure the entire unit is securely mounted and prevent any potential tipping or movement.
No additional support brackets or feet are necessary for this model. The shelves and overall construction are engineered to safely hold up to the maximum load capacity of 71 lbs per shelf. As long as you follow the assembly instructions carefully, you can be confident the HAVSTA storage unit will provide stable and reliable storage for your home

Posted on Apr 15, 2023I have a small gap between the sliding glass door and the sideboard, is it normal?
Can I adjust or fix this issue?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Apr 17, 2023The small gap between the sliding glass door and the sideboard is normal for the HAVSTA storage unit. This gap allows the doors to slide smoothly without binding.
To adjust or fix the gap, you can try the following steps:
1. Check that the unit is level and standing firmly on the floor. Adjust the leveling feet if needed to ensure the unit is level.
2. Ensure the door tracks are clean and free of debris. Wipe them down with a dry cloth to remove any dust or dirt.
3. If the gap is still noticeable, you can try tightening the screws that secure the door hinges to the frame slightly. This may help reduce the gap.
4. As a last resort, you can contact IKEA customer service. They may be able to provide additional guidance or replacement parts if there is a manufacturing defect.
The sliding door design is intended to have a small gap for proper functionality. As long as the doors are sliding smoothly, a minor gap is normal and expected for this HAVSTA storage unit
