Posted on Feb 03, 2024I recently purchased the Ivar shelving unit and I'm having trouble assembling it. The instructions are unclear, can you provide a more detailed guide or video tutorial on how to assemble it?

Answered on Feb 05, 2024The IVAR 2 section shelving unit with cabinet can be a bit tricky to assemble, but I'm happy to provide some more detailed guidance.
First, make sure you have all the necessary parts and hardware. Refer to the included assembly instructions and diagrams carefully. Pay close attention to the orientation of the side panels, shelves, and cabinet door.
It's helpful to start by attaching the side panels to the bottom shelf, ensuring they are securely in place. Then, add the remaining shelves, making sure they click into the side panels properly.
For the cabinet door, align the hinges carefully and follow the steps to attach it correctly. Double-check that the door opens and closes smoothly.
If you're still having trouble, there are some useful assembly tutorial videos available online that can provide additional visual guidance. Take your time and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions

Posted on Jan 16, 2024I recently purchased the Ivar shelving unit and I'm having trouble attaching the cabinet to the shelves. The screws provided don't seem to be fitting properly, what can I do to ensure a secure attachment?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Jan 18, 2024The screws provided with the IVAR shelving unit may not always fit perfectly, as there can be slight variations in the pre-drilled holes. Here are a few suggestions to help you securely attach the cabinet to the shelves:
1. Ensure the pre-drilled holes in the cabinet and shelves are properly aligned before attempting to insert the screws.
2. If the screws still don't fit snugly, you can try using slightly larger screws that are compatible with the material. This will create a tighter fit and a more secure connection.
3. Alternatively, you can try drilling new pilot holes that are slightly smaller in diameter than the screws. This will help the screws grip the material better and prevent them from stripping.
4. Apply a small amount of wood glue to the screw holes before inserting the screws. This will help create a stronger bond between the cabinet and the shelves.
With a little trial and error, you should be able to find a solution that provides a sturdy and secure attachment for your IVAR shelving unit
