Posted on Aug 30, 2023I have a Bestå wall-mounted cabinet combination and I'm having trouble with the shelf. The screws are loose and it keeps falling down. How can I tighten them properly?

Answered on Sep 01, 2023To tighten the loose screws on the shelf of your BESTÅ wall-mounted cabinet combination:
1. First, remove any items from the shelf to access the screws easily.
2. Locate the screws that are securing the shelf to the cabinet frame. These are likely located on the underside of the shelf.
3. Use a screwdriver that fits the screw heads properly to tighten each screw. Turn the screws clockwise to tighten them securely.
4. Make sure not to overtighten the screws, as this could strip the threads in the cabinet frame.
5. Once all the screws are tightened, replace any items on the shelf and check that it is now stable and not falling down.
If the screw holes in the cabinet frame have become enlarged over time, you may need to use wall anchors to provide a more secure attachment point for the shelf screws. This will help prevent the screws from becoming loose again

Answered on Mar 28, 2023To attach the BESTÅ wall-mounted cabinet combination to a concrete wall, you will need to use concrete wall anchors. The recommended anchors are:
- Plastic wall plugs designed for concrete walls. These should be 8mm in diameter.
- Expansion bolts or sleeve anchors, also 8mm in diameter, which expand inside the concrete to provide a secure hold.
Make sure to pre-drill holes in the concrete that are the correct size for the anchors you choose. Insert the anchors into the holes, then screw the cabinet directly into the anchors using the screws provided in the BESTÅ hardware pack.
This will provide a sturdy, secure attachment to your concrete wall. Be sure to follow the installation instructions carefully and use the appropriate safety equipment when drilling into concrete

Posted on Jun 27, 2022I'm having trouble installing the Bestå cabinet combination. The wall anchors provided seem to be too short for my drywall. Are there any alternative solutions or longer anchors available that I can use?
