Answered on Dec 02, 2023The FÄLLSVIK glass door is designed to be mounted on the sides of a BESTÅ unit, not the back. It has integrated handles and a remote control feature that work best when mounted on the sides. Mounting it on the back would not allow you to access the handles or remote control functionality properly. The door is not intended for rear-mounting on a BESTÅ unit

Posted on May 19, 2023I have a Fällsvik glass door installed in my cabinet, but I'm having trouble with the remote control not working properly. Is there a specific alignment or positioning that I need to follow when placing the remote sensor on the glass door?

Answered on May 21, 2023The remote control issue you're experiencing with the FÄLLSVIK glass door is likely due to the positioning of the remote sensor. Here are a few tips to help troubleshoot the problem:
Ensure the remote sensor is properly aligned and positioned on the glass door. It should be placed near the top edge of the door, centered horizontally, and as close to the edge as possible without interfering with the door's movement. This positioning maximizes the sensor's ability to receive the remote control signal.
Also, check that there are no obstructions between the remote control and the sensor, such as other cabinet doors or shelves. The sensor needs a clear line of sight to the remote control for optimal performance.
If the sensor is properly positioned and there are no obstructions, you may need to adjust the sensitivity or angle of the sensor. Consult the product manual for instructions on how to fine-tune the sensor settings.
Let me know if adjusting the sensor position and settings doesn't resolve the remote control issue, and we can look into any other potential troubleshooting steps
