Posted on Mar 07, 2024I need to replace the drawer glides in my BESTÅ drawer frame. Can I purchase replacement parts from Ikea or do I need to contact a third-party supplier?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Mar 09, 2024You can purchase replacement drawer glides directly from IKEA. IKEA sells spare parts for most of their products, including the BESTÅ drawer frame. You should be able to find the specific replacement drawer glides you need on the IKEA website or by visiting your local IKEA store. IKEA's spare parts are designed to fit their products, so using IKEA replacement parts is the best way to ensure a proper fit and function for your BESTÅ drawer frame

Posted on Feb 07, 2024I've assembled my BESTÅ drawer frame, but the drawers don't fit properly. The sides are a bit loose and the drawers rattle when I open or close them. Is there something I can adjust or add to make them fit snugly?

Answered on Feb 09, 2024To fix the loose drawers and rattling issue, you can try the following:
1. Check the drawer runners - Ensure the drawer runners are properly installed and secured to the frame. Tighten any loose screws.
2. Adjust the drawer height - There are usually small plastic height adjusters on the drawer runners. Try adjusting these to raise or lower the drawers for a tighter fit.
3. Add drawer dampers - You can purchase small rubber or silicone drawer dampers and attach them to the inside of the frame. This will help reduce any rattling when opening and closing the drawers.
4. Replace the drawer runners - If the existing runners are worn out, you can purchase replacement drawer runners from IKEA and install them for a more secure fit.
Following these steps should help stabilize the drawers and eliminate the rattling issue. Let me know if you have any other questions
