Posted on Dec 22, 2022I have a Besta storage unit and I'm planning to place the glass top panel on it. However, I noticed that the edges of the frame are slightly uneven, which might cause the glass to wobble when placed on it. Is there any way to level out the edges or is this a common issue with Besta frames?

Answered on Dec 24, 2022The uneven edges on the BESTÅ frame are a common issue that can cause the glass top panel to wobble. To level out the edges, you can try the following:
1. Loosen the screws that hold the frame together, then gently tap the frame to realign the edges. Retighten the screws once the frame is even.
2. If the frame is still uneven, you can try placing small shims or pieces of cardboard under the low corners of the frame to level it out.
3. Another option is to use adhesive felt pads or furniture glides on the corners of the frame. This will help stabilize the glass top and prevent it from wobbling.
The key is to ensure the frame is as level as possible before placing the glass top panel. With a little adjustment, you should be able to get the BESTÅ unit stable and secure the glass top firmly in place
