1. Locate the pre-drilled holes on the sides of the shelf unit where the door hinges will be mounted.
2. Position the door hinges over the pre-drilled holes, ensuring they are aligned correctly.
3. Secure the hinges to the shelf unit using the screws provided in the hardware pack. Tighten the screws firmly but do not overtighten.
4. With the hinges attached, hang the door on the shelf unit by positioning the door hinges over the hinge plates.

Answered on Nov 24, 2022It is possible to add an additional shelf inside the BESTÅ shelf unit. To do this, you would need to purchase the BESTÅ shelf insert (sold separately). The shelf insert is designed to fit seamlessly inside the existing BESTÅ unit and provides an extra storage level.
To install the shelf insert, you will need a screwdriver. Simply follow the instructions provided with the shelf insert to securely attach it within the BESTÅ unit. Make sure to evenly distribute the weight across the shelves to avoid any stability issues.
