Ensure the hinge plates are properly aligned on the cabinet frame before trying to attach the hinges. The hinge plates need to be positioned exactly where the hinges will connect.
Apply gentle pressure and slowly push the hinges onto the hinge plates. Don't force them, as this can damage the snap-on mechanism. Rock the hinges back and forth slightly as you push to help them click into place.
