Posted on Nov 21, 2023I'm trying to assemble the Besta shelf unit with doors, but I think I've misplaced a part. Can you please help me identify which part it is? The instruction manual says it's part number X12345, but I can't find it anywhere in the box or online.

Posted on May 08, 2023I'd like to know if the BESTÅ shelf unit with doors can be installed under a window, taking into account the dimensions you provided. Would it fit comfortably or would there be some clearance issues?

Answered on May 10, 2023The BESTÅ shelf unit with doors can be installed under a window, but you'll need to carefully consider the dimensions to ensure a proper fit. The unit is 47 1/4" wide, 16 1/2" deep, and 15" tall. When installing it under a window, make sure there is enough clearance between the top of the unit and the window sill, as well as on the sides to allow the doors to open fully. Measure the available space under the window and compare it to the unit's dimensions to determine if it will fit comfortably. If the dimensions are a close match, the BESTÅ shelf unit can be a great storage solution under a window, but be mindful of any potential clearance issues

Posted on Oct 07, 2022I'm interested in the BESTÅ Shelf unit with doors. I've assembled it and everything seems fine except that one of the doors doesn't close properly. The issue is that the door hits the shelf on the adjacent unit. Is there a way to adjust or modify the door's position so that it closes smoothly?

Answered on Oct 09, 2022The issue with the door not closing properly due to it hitting the adjacent shelf unit is likely caused by a minor adjustment needed. Here are the steps to adjust the door position:
1. First, check if the shelf unit is level and properly secured to the wall. If it's not level, use the adjustable feet to level the unit.
2. Locate the hinges on the door that is not closing properly. There are typically two or three hinges per door.
3. Use a screwdriver to slightly loosen the screws on the hinges. This will allow you to shift the door's position.
4. Gently push or pull the door to align it so it no longer hits the adjacent shelf. You may need to experiment a bit to find the right position.
5. Once the door is aligned, tighten the hinge screws back up to secure the door in the adjusted position.
Try these steps, and the door should now close smoothly without any obstruction. Let me know if you have any other questions
