Answered on Oct 11, 2023To attach the glass shelves properly to the BESTÅ storage frame, follow these steps:
1. Ensure all frame components are securely in place and aligned correctly according to the assembly instructions.
2. For each glass shelf, locate the small plastic shelf pins that came with the product. These pins will fit into designated holes along the frame sides.
3. Gently insert the shelf pins into the holes on the frame, making sure they click into place. The pins should be evenly spaced to support the glass shelf.
4. Carefully place the glass shelf on top of the shelf pins, making sure it rests evenly on all the pins.
5. If needed, you can adjust the position of the shelf pins to level the glass shelf horizontally and vertically.
6. Repeat this process for each glass shelf you need to install.
Take your time and double-check the alignment. If you continue to have issues, refer back to the assembly instructions or contact IKEA customer service for further assistance

Posted on Dec 18, 2022I'm having some issues with the drawers not gliding smoothly when opened. Is there a trick or specific way to clean/maintain them so they run more smoothly?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Dec 20, 2022To help the drawers glide more smoothly, you can try the following:
1. Check the drawer slides: Ensure the drawer slides are properly installed and not obstructed. Wipe down the slides with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dust or debris.
2. Lubricate the slides: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or furniture polish to the drawer slides. This will help reduce friction and allow the drawers to glide more smoothly.
3. Adjust the drawer balance: If the drawers are still sticking, you can try adjusting the balance by loosening the screws that hold the drawer in place and shifting it slightly. This can help the drawer move more freely.
4. Check for obstructions: Make sure there are no obstructions inside the drawer or on the shelf that could be causing the drawer to catch. Remove any items that might be interfering with the smooth movement.
Following these steps should help improve the gliding action of the drawers and make them easier to open and close

Posted on Oct 04, 2022I've noticed that the glass shelves have a maximum load capacity of 22 pounds, but I'd like to know if there's a way to distribute the weight more evenly across multiple shelves to increase the overall storage capacity. Are there any specific guidelines or recommendations for doing this?
