I'm having trouble assembling the cabinet. The dowels are not fitting into the pre-drilled holes properly.
Is there a specific technique or trick to ensure they click into place smoothly?

To ensure the dowels click into the pre-drilled holes smoothly during assembly, try the following:

1. Make sure the holes are free of any obstructions or debris that could prevent the dowels from fitting properly. Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the holes before inserting the dowels.

2. Apply a small amount of wood glue or furniture assembly lubricant to the dowels before inserting them. This can help them slide into the holes more easily.

3. Gently tap the dowels into the holes using a rubber mallet or the flat side of a hammer. Avoid hitting them too hard, as this could damage the wood.

4. Double-check that the dowels are fully seated in the holes before continuing with the assembly. They should click into place securely.

If you continue to have trouble, refer to the included assembly instructions for any specific guidance from the manufacturer. Let me know if you have any other questions

I have assembled the IDANÄS high cabinet with glass doors and one drawer, but when I open the door, it seems to be slightly off-center. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my assembly? How can I adjust it?

The slight off-center issue with the door is likely due to minor variations in the installation. Here are the steps to adjust the door alignment:

1. First, check that the cabinet is level and standing straight. Use the adjustable feet to compensate for any uneven flooring.

2. Locate the hinges on the door. There are typically screws or adjustments on the hinges that allow you to shift the door left/right and up/down.

3. Gently loosen the hinge screws just enough to allow you to shift the door into the correct centered position.

4. Once the door is aligned, retighten the hinge screws securely to lock the door in place.

5. Open and close the door a few times to ensure it is now centered and operating smoothly.

This minor adjustment should resolve the off-center issue with the door. Let me know if you have any other questions
