Adjustable hinges allow you to adjust the door horizontally and vertically.
You can choose to use either the soft-closing or push-open function. The push-opener lets you open the doors with just a light push, while the soft-closing hinges makes sure they close silently and softly.
You can choose to mount the door on the right or left side.

Posted on Jul 30, 2023I've installed the Bestå wall cabinet, but I'm having trouble getting it to stay level. Are there any specific screws or adjustments that can be made to ensure it's properly aligned?

Answered on Aug 01, 2023To ensure the BESTÅ wall cabinet stays level, there are a few adjustments you can make:
1. Check the wall mounting brackets - Make sure the brackets are securely anchored into the wall and level. Adjust as needed.
2. Adjust the hinges - The hinges on the BESTÅ doors allow for horizontal and vertical adjustment. Use a screwdriver to fine-tune the door alignment.
3. Adjust the shelves - The shelves inside the cabinet can be repositioned up or down to help level the unit. Loosen the shelf pins, adjust the shelf, then retighten.
4. Use the leveling feet - There are small leveling feet at the bottom of the cabinet. Turn them clockwise to raise that side or counterclockwise to lower it.
Take your time and make small adjustments until the cabinet is perfectly level. This will ensure the doors close properly and the unit looks neat and aligned on the wall

Posted on May 06, 2023I have a BESTÅ wall cabinet with 2 doors and I'm having trouble closing one of the doors. It seems to be stuck and won't shut properly. What could be causing this issue?
Is it possible that the hinges need adjustment or is there another problem at play?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on May 08, 2023The most likely issue causing the door to not close properly is that the hinges need adjustment. The BESTÅ wall cabinet has adjustable hinges that allow you to fine-tune the door alignment horizontally and vertically.
To adjust the hinges:
1. First, open the door that is not closing properly.
2. Locate the adjustment screws on the hinges. There are typically 2-3 adjustment screws per hinge.
3. Using a screwdriver, slowly adjust the screws a small amount, turning them clockwise or counterclockwise to move the door in the desired direction.
4. Close the door and check if the alignment and closing is improved.
5. Continue adjusting the screws in small increments until the door closes smoothly and evenly.
If the issue persists even after adjusting the hinges, there may be another underlying problem, such as the cabinet not being level or the door being warped. But adjusting the hinges is usually the first step to resolving a sticking or misaligned door on the BESTÅ wall cabinet
