Hide or display your things by combining open and closed storage.
A low combination provides convenient storage space under a window, stairs, etc.
The door has an integrated push-opener so you can open it with just a light push.
2 movable shelves make it easy to adapt the space to your storage needs, while one shelf fixed in place adds increased stability.
Adjustable feet make it possible to compensate any irregularities in the floor.
With the EKET series you can build your storage big, small, colorful or discreet to either display or hide your things. And if your space and needs change, you can easily change your EKET solution too.

Posted on Feb 03, 2023What is the weight capacity of the EKET storage combination?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Feb 05, 2023The weight capacity of the EKET storage combination is not explicitly stated in the product description provided. However, based on the general construction and design of IKEA's EKET series, a reasonable estimate would be a maximum weight capacity of around 22-25 lbs (10-12 kg) per shelf, depending on the specific configuration and placement of the shelves. The adjustable feet also allow for some compensation of irregularities in the floor, which can help support heavier loads. For the most accurate and up-to-date weight capacity information, it's best to check the IKEA website or consult with an IKEA product specialist

Posted on Sep 08, 2022I'm planning to use the Eket storage combination in a room with uneven flooring. How do I adjust the feet to compensate for this?
Are there any specific instructions or guidelines on how to level the unit?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Sep 10, 2022To adjust the feet on the EKET storage combination to compensate for uneven flooring:
1. Locate the adjustable feet on the bottom of the unit. There are 4 feet total, one at each corner.
2. Use a screwdriver or coin to turn the feet clockwise or counterclockwise. Turning them clockwise will extend the feet, while turning them counterclockwise will retract them.
3. Adjust each foot individually as needed to level the unit. Check with a spirit level to ensure the top surface is flat and even.
4. Continue adjusting the feet until the unit is completely level and stable on the uneven floor.
The adjustable feet allow you to compensate for up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) of unevenness in the floor. Take your time and adjust each foot gradually until the EKET storage combination is properly leveled
