Posted on Nov 18, 2023I'm having trouble opening the doors of my Bestå storage combination. They feel very stiff and it's hard to push them open. What could be causing this issue?

To fix this, you'll want to:

Posted on Oct 30, 2023I'd like to know if the Bestå storage combination is compatible with the Malm dresser, specifically regarding the height and depth measurements. Can you confirm if the two pieces can be placed side by side without any issues?

Answered on Nov 01, 2023The BESTÅ storage combination with doors (47 1/4x16 1/2x79 1/2 ") is not directly compatible with the MALM dresser in terms of height and depth measurements.
The BESTÅ has a depth of 16 1/2" while the MALM dresser has a depth of 18 7/8". This 2 3/8" difference in depth may cause issues if you try to place them side by side.
Additionally, the BESTÅ has a height of 79 1/2" while the standard MALM 6-drawer dresser is 30 3/4" high. The significant height difference of nearly 49" would make it difficult to align the two pieces seamlessly.
