Doors both protect and decorate - choose a door that matches well with your home and storage combination.

Glass doors keep your items free from dust but still visible.

The shelves are adjustable so you can customize your storage as needed.

You can choose to use either the soft-closing or push-open function. The push-opener lets you open the doors with just a light push, while the soft-closing hinges makes sure they close silently and softly.

Adjustable hinges allow you to adjust the door horizontally and vertically.

Optimize and organize your BESTÅ storage with boxes and inserts that you like.

Things that tend to get cluttered can be placed out of sight while your favorite objects can be showcased behind glass doors. A storage-and-display solution is practical and tells a story about yourself.

The soft-closing hinges on the BESTÅ storage combination can be adjusted or repaired if they become loose or stop working properly. Here are the steps to do so:

1. First, check if the hinges are properly installed and tightened. Use a screwdriver to tighten any loose screws on the hinges.

2. If the hinges are still not functioning properly, you can try adjusting them. There are adjustment screws on the hinges that allow you to fine-tune the door alignment and closing mechanism.

3. If the hinges are damaged and cannot be adjusted, you can replace them. Replacement soft-closing hinges for the BESTÅ system are available from IKEA. Simply detach the old hinges and install the new ones according to the instructions.

4. Make sure to lubricate the hinges periodically with a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to keep them working smoothly.

With some basic troubleshooting and adjustment, you should be able to get the soft-closing hinges on your BESTÅ storage unit working properly again

I'm having some issues with the glass doors. They seem to be slightly crooked and won't close properly. Is there a way to adjust or fix this issue?

The adjustable hinges on the BESTÅ storage combination allow you to adjust the doors horizontally and vertically to fix issues like crooked doors that won't close properly. Here are the steps to adjust the doors:

1. Locate the adjustment screws on the hinges of the door that is not closing properly.
2. Use a screwdriver to turn the adjustment screws slightly. Turn them clockwise to move the door inward or counterclockwise to move the door outward.
3. Close the door and check if it is now aligned and closing properly.
4. If needed, continue adjusting the screws in small increments until the door is aligned and closes smoothly.
5. Repeat the process for any other doors that need adjusting.

The adjustable hinges make it easy to fine-tune the door alignment to get a perfect fit and closure. Take your time with the adjustments and test the doors after each small turn of the screws

Adjusting the shelves in the BESTÅ storage combination is a simple process that does not require any technical expertise. Here are the steps:

1. Decide where you want to place the shelves. The shelves are adjustable, so you can customize the storage space to fit your needs.

2. Locate the shelf pins on the side panels. These are the small plastic or metal pegs that the shelves rest on.

3. Gently lift the shelf you want to adjust and pull it straight out. Be careful not to tilt it as you remove it.

4. Reposition the shelf pins to the desired height. Make sure the pins are level on both sides.

5. Carefully place the shelf back onto the pins, making sure it is level and secure.

6. Repeat steps 3-5 for any other shelves you want to adjust.

The adjustable shelves allow you to easily customize the storage space to fit your items. It's a straightforward process that does not require any special tools or expertise
