Posted on Aug 05, 2023I recently purchased the Bestå TV bench with doors in Riksviken color, and I love it! However, I'm having some trouble with one of the shelves. The shelf seems to be slightly warped or bent, which is causing my items to fall over when they're placed on it. Is there a way to adjust or correct this issue?

Answered on Aug 07, 2023To address the issue with the slightly warped or bent shelf, try the following:
First, ensure that the shelf is properly installed and secured in place. Check that the shelf pins are fully inserted into the holes on the side panels and that the shelf is level.
If the shelf is still not sitting flat, you can try adjusting it. Gently press down on the high side of the shelf to try to flatten it out. You can also try placing a heavy object, such as a book, on the high side of the shelf overnight to help bend it back into shape.
If the shelf is severely warped, you may need to replace it. Contact IKEA customer service, as they may be able to send you a replacement shelf free of charge.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue with the warped shelf and ensure your items are stored safely and securely on the BESTÅ TV bench
