Posted on Aug 07, 2023I would like to know how to attach the shelf adjuster, as I've lost the instructions and can't figure it out on my own

Answered on Aug 09, 2023To attach the shelf adjusters, first locate the pre-drilled holes on the inside of the TV bench frame. Insert the shelf adjusters into these holes, making sure they click into place securely. Then, simply place the shelves on top of the adjusters, ensuring they are level and supported. The adjusters will hold the shelves in place. If you have any trouble getting the adjusters to fit properly, double-check that you are aligning them with the correct pre-drilled holes. With a little trial and error, you should be able to get the shelves set up easily

Posted on Dec 02, 2022I have the Bestå TV bench with doors and I'm having trouble opening one of the doors. It seems to be stuck. Is there a trick or technique to open it smoothly?

Answered on Dec 04, 2022The most likely issue with the stuck door on your BESTÅ TV bench is that the soft-closing hinges need to be adjusted. Try the following steps:
1. First, fully open the door that is stuck.
2. Locate the adjustment screws on the hinges. There should be one or two screws per hinge.
3. Using a screwdriver, turn the adjustment screws clockwise a few turns to loosen the tension on the hinges.
4. Close the door and check if it now opens and closes smoothly.
5. If needed, make additional small adjustments to the hinge screws until the door operates properly.
The soft-closing mechanism may just need a minor adjustment to restore smooth operation. With a few turns of the hinge screws, you should be able to get that stuck door working like new again
