Posted on Dec 25, 2023I've assembled the BESTÅ TV unit, but I noticed that the adjustable feet are not leveling perfectly on my floor. Is there a way to adjust them further or is it possible to replace them if they're worn out?

Answered on Dec 27, 2023The adjustable feet on the BESTÅ TV unit can be used to level the unit on uneven floors. Here are the steps to adjust them further:
1. Locate the small plastic covers at the bottom of each leg. Remove these covers to access the adjustment screws.
2. Using a screwdriver or Allen key, turn the adjustment screws clockwise to extend the legs and raise the unit, or counterclockwise to retract the legs and lower the unit.
3. Adjust each leg as needed until the TV unit is level and stable on your floor.
If the adjustable feet are worn out and no longer function properly, you can replace them. Replacement feet are available from IKEA. Simply unscrew the old feet and screw in the new replacement feet.

Answered on Apr 16, 2023To attach the back panel to the main frame of the BESTÅ TV unit:
1. Lay the main frame upside down on a flat surface.
2. Locate the pre-drilled holes along the back edges of the frame.
3. Position the back panel so that the holes in the panel align with the holes in the frame.
4. Insert the screws provided through the holes in the back panel and into the frame. Tighten the screws securely.
5. Once the back panel is attached, you can flip the unit over and continue with the rest of the assembly.
If you're still having trouble, I recommend checking the instructional diagrams or videos on the IKEA website, as they may provide additional visual guidance. Let me know if you have any other questions

Posted on Mar 28, 2023I'm having some issues with the adjustable feet on my BESTÅ TV unit. They seem to be stuck and I can't adjust them anymore. Are there any tricks or methods to loosen them up without damaging the unit?

Answered on Mar 30, 2023The adjustable feet on the BESTÅ TV unit are designed to allow you to level the unit on uneven floors. If the feet are stuck and you're unable to adjust them, here are a few steps you can try to loosen them up:
1. First, try turning the feet clockwise and counterclockwise by hand to see if you can get them moving again. Apply a bit of force, but be gentle to avoid damaging the threads.
2. If that doesn't work, you can try using a pair of pliers or adjustable wrench to gently turn the feet. Be careful not to over-tighten or damage the threads.
3. As a last resort, you can try spraying a small amount of a lubricant like WD-40 or silicone spray around the base of the feet. Let it sit for a few minutes, then try adjusting the feet again.
If the feet remain stuck after trying these methods, it's best to avoid forcing them, as that could cause further damage to the unit. Instead, you may need to contact IKEA for assistance or replacement parts
