Posted on Oct 29, 2023I've assembled the Bestå TV bench and everything is working well except for one issue: the drawer runners are not gliding smoothly. They seem stuck or jammed and it's difficult to open/close them without some force. Have you experienced this problem before? Is there a trick to lubricate or adjust the runners to make them move more smoothly?

Answered on Jun 01, 2023To adjust the shelves on the BESTÅ TV bench:
1. Locate the shelf pins that are holding the shelves in place. These are the small plastic or metal pins that fit into the pre-drilled holes on the sides of the TV bench.
2. Gently pull the shelf straight up to remove it from the pins. You may need to apply a bit of force, but be careful not to damage the shelf or the bench.
3. Decide on the new position for the shelf and align the shelf pins with the desired set of holes on the side panels.
4. Carefully push the shelf down onto the pins until it clicks into place securely.
5. Repeat this process for any other shelves you want to adjust.
Remember to distribute the weight evenly across the shelves to avoid overloading. If you have any other issues, refer to the instruction manual or contact IKEA for further assistance
