Posted on Oct 24, 2023I'm having some trouble with the shelves in my Eket cabinet. They seem to be loose and are falling off when I put heavy items on them. How can I securely attach them?
Alice @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Oct 26, 2023To securely attach the shelves in your EKET cabinet:
1. Ensure the shelf pins are properly inserted into the pre-drilled holes on the cabinet sides. Push the pins in firmly until they click into place.
2. Check that the shelves are resting evenly on the shelf pins. If they seem loose, you can add a small amount of white wood glue to the shelf pin holes before reinserting the pins.
3. For extra stability, you can also use shelf supports or brackets that screw directly into the cabinet sides. These provide additional support to hold heavier items.
4. Avoid overloading the shelves. Distribute the weight evenly and do not exceed the maximum weight capacity listed in the product information.
Following these steps should help secure the shelves and prevent them from falling off when you put heavy items on them

Posted on Aug 03, 2022I have a question regarding the installation of my Eket wall-mounted cabinet. I've read that it's quite easy to install, but I'm not sure if I should use the included screws or anchor plugs for mounting. Can you please advise on which option is recommended for a plastered wall?
Kenzo @ EasyRebuild
Answered on Aug 05, 2022For a plastered wall, it's recommended to use the included anchor plugs when installing the EKET wall-mounted cabinet. The anchor plugs will provide a more secure and stable mounting compared to just using the screws alone. Make sure to drill the appropriate size holes in the wall to accommodate the anchor plugs, then insert the plugs and secure the cabinet using the provided screws. This will ensure the cabinet is properly supported and can safely hold the weight of your stored items
