Posted on Apr 02, 2024I've been using my Bestå TV storage for a while now, and I've noticed that the soft-closing function on the drawers seems to be getting less effective. The doors still close silently, but the drawers sometimes make a bit of a noise when they shut.
Is there any way to adjust or maintain this mechanism to keep it working smoothly?

1. Check for debris: Over time, dust and debris can accumulate in the drawer slides, affecting the smooth operation. Gently wipe down the drawer slides with a clean, dry cloth to remove any buildup.
2. Lubricate the slides: Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant or furniture polish to the drawer slides. This will help reduce friction and ensure the soft-closing mechanism works effectively.
3. Adjust the soft-close mechanism: Locate the small adjustment screws on the drawer slides. Turning these screws clockwise will increase the soft-closing tension, while turning them counterclockwise will decrease it. Adjust the screws in small increments until you achieve the desired level of soft-closing action.
